My mechanic had to cut these off because they were stuck on. It cost me $8 a valve to remove these crappy caps.

the little bolt that "locks" the cap on, rusted a lot after one rainfall, its cheap, and i can see how the other reviewer had the issue with it being stuck on. make sure to keep the allen wrench if you do get these

I would STRONGLY encourage you to reconsider your purchase & installation of these innocent looking pieces of car bling. Although inexpensive, they may well cost you considerably more later on. The problem is, the allow metal from which they're made tends to 'fuse' with the metal of the tire stem threads, effectively 'locking them in place'. Most efforts to remove them (when locked) prove ineffective and are often destructive to the stem itself (a double whammy becase that is where the 'low tire pressure sensor' is located....increasing your repair cost even more. If you google this you will discover a whole world of people who have experienced this problem, as well as an interesting assortment of 'corrective actions'. My suggestion, avoid putting them on in the first place. However, if you do (and experience this problem) I would recommend (as in my case) simply take your vehicle to your mechanic or tire service company and have them remove your wheels and replace the tire valve stems. You will then realize the true cost of these little pieces of automotive bling. Your choice.
