This is one of my fav's, the others being the eagle1's wheel n tire cleaner. Though Nothing beats the use of a brush and elbow grease, this really helps with the calipers, spaces my brush can't reach, and especially the tires before i clean them. DO NOT expect this to wash your wheels for you, you still need to get down and scrub, this just helps alot. Though it runs out quick, it is inexpensive.
Pros: Works, you'll see the brown grime coming off the tires and the black dust from the wheels.
Smells like cherry (some will put that in the Cons)
great for nooks and crannies
Safe for almost all wheels
One of my fav solutions to cleaning tirewalls (clean shiny tires DO make a difference)
Cons: Runs out QUICK, you'll be getting another bottle before you know it
trigger a bit small, tires the fingers rather fast

Swapped my winter tires for summer tires and they needed a serious clean. I drive a Dodge Magnum SRT with 20 inch high performance rims. This stuff turned the capped on brake dust to black sludge. It did require some scrubbing but where applied, it took everything off with a garden hose. Great stuff. Just bought 4 more bottles. My only gripe, 1 bottle=4 wheels. Might be able to do more if you are doing basic clean maintenance but for serious clean, it took the whole bottle.

I wash my car once every couple of weeks. Sometimes it may be a little longer. But I don't wash the wheel really well every time, so there can be some brake dust build-up when I decide to clean them really well... but not caked on like some of you may have. So I can't write a review on heavy build-up.
But for moderate build up, this stuff works well. I sprayed it on, and waited for about 30 seconds like the directions say. You will start seeing the white foam turn brown as it "melts" the grime off of the wheels and tires. I also used a little wheel brush to clean all the nooks and crannies and clean the inside of the wheel. Got the wheels nearly spotless with a little agitation.
If you are looking for strictly a spray on and hose off product, this probably isn't it unless your wheels are already not too dirty. I would recommend Sonax's wheel cleaner if you are looking for a top-of-the-line wheel cleaner.
And to those of you that say this product works no better than regular old car soap and water, then I have to disagree. Car soap never "melts" the grime down after 10 seconds. When you spray this stuff on, you can see the grime running down the wheels. Soap and water isn't strong enough to do that.
So does this stuff work? Yes. Will you be able to spray it on and hose it off without scrubbing? Probably not. This stuff is powerful enough to get off grime with only some light to moderate scrubbing. You'd have to do a LOT more scrubbing with only soap and water. Is this stuff the best stuff on the market? No. Sonax is better. But Sonax is $15. Mother's is half the price. So it is worth the money.
P.S... I also have tried Meguiars Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner. And I prefer the Mother's wheel cleaner. The Meguiar's cleaner cleans about the same, but it has a strong acid smell that burns your nose if you get close enough to scrub.
