My title pretty much says it all. This little contraption has plenty of power (at least for my purposes) as I keep my tires on my Prius around 40 pounds of air pressure, and this unit pumped them up from 32 to 40 in about a minute or less. The connector makes a good contact, and you lose little air putting it on or taking it off. I've read of other evaluators who said their units lost lots of air, especially when removing the connector from the valve tip. My only slight problem is the unit has a nice decent length air line which fits into the plastic housing. There is a little piece of plastic that goes on top to keep the air line in the unit when not in use. However, if you wish to leave the air line out, it is really easy to lose this plastic cover. It's no big deal, but I hate losing parts, even non essential ones. Posstscript: Unit basically stopped functioning after 6 months; the motor was burning up (you could smell it), and I was afraid to run it for fear of fire or other probelms. I never abused unit and used it sparingly. I am afraid (at least this one) does not hold up well.

Decent price. I actually lucked out and got this thing for $40 right before they raised it to $47. (sorry!)
Inflated my Buick LeSabre tires (sorry I don't know the size, but bigger than average for sedans) from 26 psi to 31 psi in 1 minute exactly. I'm satisfied.
The on-board pressure gauge is not accurate, which is typical of inflators in my experience.
Sure you lose a little air when putting the connector on/off the tire valve, as with any inflation device. You just have to make the transition between locking/unlocking and connecting/disconnecting very brief. Push on lock. Unlock pull off. Bingo bango.
UPDATE- The first time, this was easy. The 2nd time, it was horribly difficult to pull off. Took me 20+ minutes to fill my tires because of lost air mainly when pulling off. I felt like I was going to tear my tire valve right off. There's some kind of plastic inside the inflator nozzle that is coming apart... So I just lowered my rating from 4 to 2 stars.
UPDATE 2- I have since gotten better at removing the nozzle. I put it on as only as firmly as needed to fill air, the "sweet spot". Rating back up to 3. Also I've noticed the gauge, while inaccurate, is consistently off, so I can still use it as a rough guide for when to stop.
You may need an extension cord (3 prongs) if you don't have a slick garage with outlets on each side like me. The cord wraps around the base for storage, and the inflation hose stores away easily. Has convenient carrying handle and 4 nubs on the bottom to help hold it still while it vibrates like crazy and cushion the plastic from the hard concrete or gravel ground.
Very loud. I wore ear muffs in my enclosed garage, even though I only used it for 4 minutes.

I recently purchased the Campbell Hausfeld 120 Volt Inflation system because I use a power wheelchair and often find myself needing to inflate the tires. The 12 volt inflators are useless to a person who doesn't own a car. I did a lot of searching to finally find a tire inflation system that I can use right in my own home any time I want it. No more fear of getting a flat tire while out and about because I can check the guage any time. It is pretty hard to get off one's wheelchair at a service station to inflate one's tires. This is a Must-Have. I love it.
