If you are looking for a Strong but Compact ratchet, this is it!
The handle is about 3" long, with a very comfortable "girth" to it. The handle is molded rubber/plastic that doesn't slip or dig into the palm of your hand.
I was a little worried about whether the ratchet would be strong enough to loosen very tight screws - you know, the ones that creak & complain when they finally begin to turn! This ratchet handles them like a champ! It didn't bend, it didn't break, it didn't even skip a single tooth.
The perfect size and strength for my "travel tool kit."

Incredibly handy ... 1/4" square drive on one side, for small sockets, 1/4" hex for driver bits on the other. Having both drives on one convenient tool is not rocket science ... but it's an odd combination that is much appreciated.
Build quality is good; on par with HFT's Pittsburg tools, or Kobalt, a bit better than the other value store brands like Work Force or Husky.
You should know: I was a bit surprised at how small the tool is. The picture isn't deceiving, it just doesn't give a good frame of reference. This is a pretty small 1/4" ratchet, smaller than typical. That's a plus in my book ... just be aware, so you're not unpleasantly surprised.

I have tried a few of these mini ratchets: The Great Neck 51063 Mini Ratchet and Bit Set, 10-Piece; the MAXCRAFT 60199 1/4-Inch Dual-Drive Mini Ratchet Driver; the Neiko 03044A Mini Ratcheting Screwdriver and Bit Set, Pocket Size Close-Quarters ,1/4-Inch Drive; the SE 1/4in Square/Hex Reversible Mini Ratchet; and a few more. The Great Neck is my favorite. The Great Neck may not be as sturdy as the Maxcraft, but it seems more comfortable to use. They are both really good. All the others are too cheap, they wobble and are low quality.
