Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1XJJC9RY0IGKN "Fire Gone" is a single use fire extinguisher that is perfect for home, car and business use. We are professional candle makers and always keep several fire extinguishers strategically placed about our workshop and in our house. We have the "big" extinguishers near our candle production area, but wanted smaller ones that could be placed under our sales counter and the "Fire Gone" fit the bill perfectly.
See Video: We tested this on a mixture of over saturated Gel Wax (which is VERY flammable), wood chips, wax soaked paper towels, and Paraffin Wax. Once it caught well, we removed the safety tab and used it on the fire. The can lasted about 17 seconds and quickly extinguished the fire.
This is a very conveniently sized fire extinguisher and knowing it works provides us with good peace of mind.

The product arrived in a sturdy cardboard box with brown paper wrapped around each individual can, sort of like wine bottle paper packaging. However, like the critical review from David Strawn, one of my cans was also delivered with the head shattered. Even though it probably broke while in transit, the fault lies with the manufacturer for using such cheap plastic. If the head on your can cracks like mine was, you'll see just how cheap and weak the plastic is. In fact, it's quite outrageous that they skimped on of the most important parts of the extinguisher. I'm imaging the horror somebody might face if they quickly pulled out the can in the heat of the moment (no pun intended), only to have the head apparatus crack and shatter, immediately rendering the extinguisher useless and the emergency unresolved and possibly fatal. I hope the manufacturer or Amazon takes notice and either strengthens the plastic head or discontinues the product. For that serious flaw I'm giving it a low rating. Otherwise the small sized extinguisher is a fantastic idea/product. The can is such a nice convenient size for cars, camping, hiking, and/or part of your emergency kit. Maybe there's a way to DIY -strengthen the head with duct tape or something - to prevent good ones from future cracking, especially if you don't want the head breaking apart or breaking off while in your backpack, or sloshing around with all your junk (for the un-organized) in the back of your car, or falling over amongst your other bottles and cans in the garage or kitchen. Just a thought.

I saw this demostrated at a motorhome class I took. Fire safety in a motorhome is crutial and this product works as advertised and is so much easier to use (i.e. quicker)than a fire extinquisher. I really like the size, small but powerful. It can be stored all over the place because it is about the size of a room air freshener can. Excellent product which truly puts a fire out fast!
