Do not buy

Do not waste your money on this item. After installing them on my car for about three weeks the BMW logo is gone;peeled off or washed out by rain, not sure but no longer there. I live in the south, dorve through one rain shower and washed my car a couple of days after. Spend more money if you have to and find a better product.

ok for what you get

These are a good looking edition to your wheels but the locking set screw is unnecessary. The only thing I don't like about them is the fact that they lock with a set screw. This sounds grate and all but when you get them tightened down on the valve stem if the hole is pointed at the rim there is no way to install the set screw and tighten it. There is a rubber seal in the bottom of the cap and when tightened down firmly will stay in place and the locking set screw is not needed leaving a hole in the cap. I just tightened them by hand and I drive on the autobahn regularly at speeds of 130mph and they are still their. If someone wants to steal them that's a different story and they probably need them more then me anyway.

Got these as stocking stuffer for DH's 2008 BMW and very pleased with them. Appear well made and sturdy and look classy. If they stay on/don't get stolen all the better!
